Marking test - Marking press
Video showing a marking trial and carrying out tests under real conditions with our PM30 press. Objective: validate clean, precise marking on the part.
An industrial marking press is a specialised machine designed to engrave and inscribe information on various objects, plates or products.
It uses a punch or die to apply controlled pressure, enabling precise data such as numbers, logos or technical information to be recorded on different materials (metal, plastic, etc.).
The operating principle is based on a simple method. Once the part to be marked has been correctly positioned on the press table, pressure is applied using a manual lever or a pneumatic system.
Two types of EMG marking press are available, adapted to the varied needs of its users:
> The range of manual marking presses is ideal for small-scale production, such as engraving small to medium-sized nameplates or personalising parts in small quantities.
> The range of pneumatic marking presses, meanwhile, is specially designed for manufacturers with higher production requirements. This type of press is used to engrave data on more robust materials, on large surfaces, or to produce larger production runs.
