Manual Presses with Pneumatic Assistance
The pneumatically assisted manual press offers all the guidance precision of a manual press combined with the power of a pneumatic press:
- it combines the best of both technologies, ensuring ergonomics, precision and high power output without unnecessary effort.
- Its main advantage is that it allows the workpiece to be held by hand to ensure perfect centring.
These presses are used for cutting, pressing, fitting, riveting and assembly work where a working stroke of less than 6 mm is sufficient.
The rated force specified at a pressure of 6 bar is proportionally adjustable as standard from 3 to 6 bar (and optionally from 0.5 to 6 bar).
Applications
The total stroke is thus carried out in two stages:
- Manual approach stroke:
Operating the lever allows the approach stroke to be carried out up to the point of contact between the parts to be assembled, whilst ensuring their correct positioning.
- Pneumatic working stroke:
Pressing the pneumatic control then triggers the working stroke using pneumatic power, requiring no effort from the operator even with a delivered force of 5 tonnes.
The rated force specified at a pressure of 6 bar is proportionally adjustable as standard from 3 to 6 bar (and optionally from 0.5 to 6 bar).
